My new inbetween Project (maybe one a week) is to sculpt Portraits from Photos of Facebook friends or Fans of art-3d.com on facebook.

The challenge is to use just one photo and sculpt out of the basesphere in around one hour or less.
Toon and realistic is allowed.

My personal goal is to sculpt faster and capture the likeness of the person better.

Here is a timelapse ... in the middle i forget to start the capture again after a break.

In Memory of Leonard Nimoy (26.03.1931 - 27.02.2015)

This is a sculpt i made of Leonard Nimoy.
Like million of kids, ive enjoyed the Star Trek a lot.

After Capturing the timelapse session i did some tweaks on the hair and proportion,
because it was not the clay look i was looking for.
